What is sending the signals?

instead of doing like this:
public var mySignal:Signal;
do in a method:
mySignal = injector.getInstance(...)

my model has no injector variable...

correct - the injector isn't included in the model by default.
if you do
public var injector:IInjector;
you'll find you have access to it.
